Promotional Materials Production Coordinator
Candlewick Press seeks a Promotional Materials Production Coordinator responsible for handling and scheduling the production of all advertising, marketing, and promotional materials.

Responsibilities include:

- Field requests for promotional materials from Sales and Marketing, work closely with the Executive Director of Production and Manufacturing to obtain competitive quotations from multiple vendors, and communicate cost approvals to requestors.
- Purchase all print and promotional items required by Marketing and Sales.
- Prepare and maintain promotions job folders.
- Establish and maintain schedules for promotional materials.
- Attend and hold meetings as needed, take meeting notes and maintain production status reports.
- Hold weekly check-ins with promotions designers and Commercial Operations Supervisor to review active and upcoming projects.
- Circulate all promotional materials in-house to obtain approvals prior to sending out for reproduction.
- Review and circulate proofs in-house for promo projects and communicate approvals or changes with vendor.
- Liaise with Inventory staff to ensure proper organization and marking of promo materials for warehousing, ordering, and distribution when required.
- Distribute finished promotional materials in-house and throughout the Candlewick/Walker Books Group.
- Maintain sample library of all completed promotional pieces.
- Review invoices, resolve any discrepancies and approve for payment.
- Work with Executive Director of Production and Manufacturing, designers and outside vendors to develop and purchase corrugated or other types of product displays.

Required skills:

Excellent organizational and communication skills are required along with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Applicant should possess a proactive approach to their work and have great attention to detail. Two + years project management and print buying experience along with some production experience in a publishing environment is strongly preferred.
