Gabriel Evans

Gabriel Evans is an Australian children’s book illustrator and author. He is a dog lover and an avid grower of oak trees who drinks copious amounts of tea. He is the illustrator of Roses are Blue by Sally Murphy and Captain Sneer the Buccaneer by Penny Morrison, both of which were named Children’s Book Council of Australia Notable Books of the Year. Between book projects he travels Australia giving illustration workshops and talks in schools and libraries. Ollie and Augustus is his latest book. He currently lives in Western Australia.
